Annual. Spring Melody Blend with its stunning, saucer-shaped bright rose, red, orange, white and yellow double and semi-double flowers adds loads of color when planted in mass. A heat- and drought-tolerant plant requiring little care, it will often self-sow, providing years of springtime beauty. California poppy is perennial in USDA zones 7-11; in other zones it is treated as an annual.
