Tomatillo Toma Verde HEIRLOOM Seeds

Tomatillo Toma Verde HEIRLOOM Seeds

Physalis ixocarpa

Item #0088

65 days from transplanting. Tomatillos are essential to a wide variety of Mexican foods. 'Toma Verde' is a prolific, large-fruited, 3'-6' tall variety with early yields, adapted to grow successfully in both southern and northern climates. These papery-husked wonders are related to tomatoes, but thrive in heat, and also cool, dry conditions. Growing two or more plants improves pollination and yield.

This packet yields approximately 120 plants started indoors.
