Perennial (Tender). Grown as an annual. Blue salvia, also known as mealycup sage, has a wonderfully long blooming period and looks absolutely incredible planted in mass or in containers. An excellent cut or dried flower, Blue Victoria has deep violet-blue flowers and attains a height of only 18". Does well in hot, humid climates. Drought tolerant; grows on dry hillsides in its native Texas, New Mexico and Mexico. Grown as an annual, but perennial in USDA zones 8-10. Deer resistant.
