Item #3121
45 days. Planting your garden a little late? Oak Leaf Blend is the ideal choice. Leaves remain tender and sweet without the bitterness that often develops in other lettuces when warmer weather arrives. The beautiful, oak leaf shaped leaves are wonderful for salads and sandwiches, or picked very young for mesclun.
This packet sows up to 92 ft.

When to start inside: 4 to 6 weeks before average last frost, and in summer when soil temperatures are too warm (above 80°F) to germinate lettuce seed.
Harvesting: Harvest mature plants by cutting off at ground level. If regrowth is desired, cut the leaves higher, at 2". For a continual supply, outer, individual leaves can be harvested at any time, but leave at least half of the plant for regrowth.
